- Abstract
This article presents several activities in the International Conference & Exhibition of the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC) in Greenville, South Carolina in September 2003. The conference will open with a welcoming reception at the Palmetto Expo Center. Keynote speaker Janet Littrell will talk about speed to market via color innovation. She will discuss the steps necessary to implement a new color management process supported by a core technology suite. The Awards Banquet will feature the presentation of the Olney Medal for outstanding achievement in textile chemistry, the Harold C. Chapin Award for service to AATCC, and the Henry E. Millson Award for Invention. After dinner, RazzMaJazz will provide dance music. Exhibits will feature digital printing equipment, color management, color science, dyes, chemicals and testing services for the apparel and textile wet processing industry. Admittance to the exhibit area will require a conference badge. The conference will also commercial presentations by exhibitors for showcasing their product innovations and services. In addition, AATCC Foundation Inc. will host a charitable golf outing open to the general public.
