- Abstract
In this article the author discusses aspects of a 2013 report by E. Ostroumova, A. Rozhko, M. Hatch, K. Furukawa, O. Polyanskaya, R. J. McConnell, et al., titled "Measures of Thyroid Function Among Belarusian Children and Adolescents Exposed to Iodine-131 From the Accident at the Chernobyl Nuclear Plant," in an issue of "Environmental Health Perspectives." The link between iodine-131 (131I) dose and hypothyroidism and the researchers' response are presented.
