- Authors
Garnett, Simon
- Abstract
The article explores whether Germany's orientation towards consensus and coalition is a form of anti-politics. Topics discussed include the tension introduced by the Social Democratic Party's (SPD) decision to put the coalition agreement to the vote of its members, the impact of the departure of the Free Democratic Party (FDP) from the Bundestag on the Greens and Die Linke, and the implications of the defeat of the FDP in the 2013 election.
