- Abstract
This study aims to determine the opinions of the classroom teacher candidates regarding the problems experienced in educational measurement and evaluation. Since the study's problems encountered in measurement and evaluation were dealt with in detail, the phenomenology design was preferred among qualitative research methods. The participant group of the study was determined according to the criterion sampling method. In this context, the participant group of the study consists of 18 teacher candidates studying at the education faculty of a university in the Southeastern Anatolia Region. A semi-structured interview forms prepared by the researchers was used in the data collection phase. In the process of data analysis, the content analysis method was used. Excel and Nvivo programs were used in the analysis of the data. As a result of the research, it was determined that the participants expressed various opinions about the problems related to measurement tools and types, problems related to validity and reliability, and solutions for measurement-evaluation.
