- Abstract
With the impact of globalization, competition between institutions has visibly increased. Multidisciplinary, consistent and persistent corporate identities have become the key for institutions to succeed in order to differentiate them selves, be noticed and increase awareness. Universities have also realized the importance of corporate identity in this competitive academic environment. Corporate identity is not only logo, slogan or visual features, but also is a reflection of the philosophy, culture and relations of the institution, an umberella term with many elements. Corporate visual identity, on the other hand, is a vital one among these elements. In this research, the subject of corporate visual identity was examined within the context of corporate identity in universities. Corporate visual identity of Ankara Haci Bayram Veli University was examined and logo design process was discussed. While this study is qualitative, it is a descriptive and applied research.
