- Abstract
In view of the limiting factors in the hoisting and maintenance process of large equipment, considering the specifications of the onsite equipment, operating conditions and load conditions, with the main motor of the air compressor of the 22 500 Nm3/h oxygen generating unit as the object, a balance beam for hoisting is designed and produced, and its design ideas, design process and materials are discussed. A three-dimensional model of the balance beam is constructed by using software SolidWorks, and the 1:1 threedimensional model is imported into the engineering simulation finite element analysis software Abaqus to establish a finite element model of the balance beam. A load is applied to it to carry out displacement deformation and stress analysis and check and to fully verify the safety and reliability of the design of the balance beam. After confirming that it meets the requirements of hoisting operation, the balance beam is produced with locally sourced materials and applied on site and economically, safely and efficiently assist in completing the hoisting operation of the air separation unit, which shows that the balance beam has certain application value and provides a reference for the hoisting operation of other large equipment.
