- Abstract
In order to realize the application of panoramic video technology in engineering equipment, in view of certain distortion of traditional panoramic video stitching technology and the problems of long camera distortion correction time, lack of realtime performance and image smear during the stitching process, a panoramic stitching fusion algorithm to optimize the image distortion and improve the image stitching speed is proposed, which uses discrete cosine transform to filter out high-frequency coefficients, effectively improving the quality of panoramic stitching images and shortening the stitching time. The practical application results show that the stitching time can be reduced by 45% with this technique.
