- Abstract
Consonant with the London Yearly Meeting advice of 1695 that teachers confer on "methods most agreeable to the Truth," and following Helen Hole's 1978 suggestion that a national committee serve as a bridge between Quaker educational tradition and Quaker college governing boards, the Friends Association for Higher Education (FAHE) organized in the United States in 1980 after five years of discussion. The author, the FAHE office manager at Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina, since 1985, lists purposes and participating colleges.
