- Abstract
The article discusses the life and work of German anthropologist and scientist Robert Lehmann-Nitsche. The author focuses on the research conducted by Lehmann-Nitsche in Argentina and how it reflects the exchange of knowledge between Europe and Latin America. The author explains that Lehmann-Nitsche examined issues which had received little attention from academics and intellectuals. The article also talks about the "Biblioteca Criolla" phonograph record which collected native and aboriginal cultural events.
