- Abstract
The article presents the author's views on the changes to the Irish government's pet travel policy across the Irish sea as of 2013. He states that the government requires pet owners to obtain a European Union Pet Passport to prove that their pets have microchip identification and received rabies vaccination. Other topics include the health certificate requirement within 24 hours of scheduled departure and the Veterinary Ireland's Companion Animal Society's efforts to address related matters.
