- Title
PET PASSPORT CHANGES-SUCCESS RE ECHINOCOCCUS MULTILOCULARIS.
- Authors
Rossiter, Alan
- Abstract
The article offers the author's insights regarding the changes in the pet passport regulations in Ireland, which intends to require passport for pets travelling from European Union (EU) countries, and have updated rabies vaccinations. The author says that the changes would mean that dogs would not be needed to have tapeworm treatment before entering the country. He also states that tapeworm echinococcus multilocularis (EM) would have a chance of spreading if the changes will pass.
