- Abstract
For very low doses, compared with standard doses, the risk of relapse increased further to 72% (95% CI, 29-129) and the risk of all-cause discontinuation to 31% (95% CI, 11-54). Comment & Response B To the Editor b Relapse prevention is paramount in managing schizophrenia.[1] Leucht et al[2] conducted a meta-analysis of randomized clinical trials comparing the association between different antipsychotic maintenance doses and risk of relapse and rehospitalization in individuals with schizophrenia by generating efficacy-related dose-response curves. Standard versus reduced dose of antipsychotics for relapse prevention in multi-episode schizophrenia: a systematic review and meta-analysis of randomised controlled trials.
