- Abstract
The article discusses the permissive interpretation of former U.S. President George W. Bush on torture law, and whether the law had created confusion on how to punish the convicts. It describes the political issue of torture when the media had reported about the Abu Gharib prison abuses. It talks about the integral training of Iraqi judiciary to the plans of the State Department in imposing legal orders to Iraq.
