- Abstract
This research work provides knowledge about the hybrid of Rosmarinus sp, which was taxonomically classified as Rosmarinus x lavandulaceus Noë. After its taxonomic classification, the study begins in an experimental plot of which two consecutive years of observations on growth data, number of axes, major axes, minor axes, height, upper and lower diameters are recorded. Regarding growth and morphology. It presents a growth with a height of 140.80 cm, with 3 - 4 main axes that form its architecture, The phenological phases for cultivation in the southern hemisphere are recorded. The phenological phases were determined in the following months: Vegetative state: December, January and February. Pre-flowering stage: begins in the first half of August until the first half of September. Full Bloom State: it is located from the second half of September to the first half of November. This phase continues but no longer in full bloom during the months of December and January, combined with postblooming. Post-flowering stage: February and March. The results obtained showed this hybrid as a good biomass producer, exceeding 65 % with respect to other Rosmarinus sp. From the cuts and studies carried out, results of a high leaf-stick ratio in the pre-flowering stage with an essential oil yield of almost 3% dry weight ratio, values which exceed those provided by current scientific evidence.
