- Abstract
A biography of Atanas Kolarovski, a Macedonian folk dance performer and instructor, is presented. He was born on August 9, 1926 in the village of Dračevo, Macedonia to a family of musicians. At age 16 he joined the music ensemble of the Partisan Army of Yugoslavia. After the end of World War II he joined the Macedonian folk ensemble Tanec as a dancer and choreographer. He moved to Seattle, Washington during the 1970s, where he continues to teach and perform.
