- Abstract
Corus Orthodontists, a North American network of orthodontic practices, enhanced its employee benefits program to meet the diverse needs of its workforce. The decision to revamp the program was driven by the organization's expansion and the desire to attract and retain top talent. Corus employed a comprehensive approach, including research, benchmarking, and input from employees, to inform the changes. They introduced a platform called People Connect Total Health to enhance inclusivity and access to healthcare and mental health support. Corus also promotes well-being through initiatives such as a monthly wellness program and orthodontic care for employees and their dependents. The leadership team at Corus prioritized access to comprehensive health, mental health, and well-being services and used data-driven insights to tailor solutions to specific needs within the workforce. They also implemented proactive measures to improve employee understanding and engagement with the benefits program, including virtual education sessions and a comprehensive communication strategy. Corus continues to evolve its benefit offerings based on claims utilization data and employee feedback, ensuring they remain relevant and competitive. Embracing data-driven decision making helps companies improve employee well-being and foster a culture of support and satisfaction.
