- Abstract
The authors comment on the article "Why sprint interval training is inappropriate for a largely sedentary population," by S.J. Hardcastle, that was published in a 2014 issue of the journal. Topics include administration of the sprint interval training (SIT) in using repeated Wingate-tests; differences shown by SIT in the magnitude of acute changes in physiological and perceptual function; and comparison among SIT, HIT, and continuous exercise (CEX).
