- Abstract
An essay is presented on the author's experience of being a Mexican, gay, HIV-positive Dominican brother. Details related to his membership in the Dominican Order and his attempts to live and study in the U.S. are presented. Emphasis is given to the theological aspects of marginalization, queerness, and hybridity. Other topics include homophobia, discrimination against HIV-positive people, and decolonization.
