- Abstract
The MCRT and its corresponding anchoring method are easy to use, reliable, and can be used to install cable bolts with a resin-surrounding rock bond strong enough to match the supporting force of the high-strength cable in the cable bolt. The breaking force of conventionally anchored cable bolt with a diameter of 17.8 mm was 355 kN. After the resin had hardened, the cable bolts were pre-tightened so that the changes in cable bolt support forces could be monitored as the working face advanced toward test site.
