- Abstract
Internet banking is an alternative delivery channel developed by using internet to offer banking services. This delivery channel attracts a special worldwide attention because of its benefits to both banks and customers. The primary benefit of internet banking to banks is to reduce their operating expenses. And the primary benefit of internet banking to customers is to allow them to perform almost all the banking transactions, except drawing and depositing cash, simply by having internet connection at any time and in any place. This paper aims to determine the factors which affect customers' decision about whether to use internet banking or not. For this purpose a questionnaire was conducted. According to the results of the study, it can be said that the use of this alternative delivery channel will become more widespread if banks take preventive measures for possible internet security issues.
