A preface to the book " Wind and Whirlwind" by Ágnes Heller and Ricardo Mazzeo is presented. It highlights striking and compelling contrast of both the authors including Heller, European philosopher's view on unsolvable tensions and problems of imagination that nourish the roots of utopian thinking and Mazzeo describes dystopias addressed by contemporary literature.
