- Abstract
This article presents an analysis of the reason behind the innocent bloodshed in the Pentateuch. The same, always in a wide preventive context, talks about life's value and care. The fraternal bond, the image of God in man and the presence of God in the midst of His people are three of the main arguments in favor of life. Disrespecting these arguments implies distancing oneself from God and suffering unavoidable consequences.
