Medicina Narrativa: una pratica comunicativa quotidiana dell'internista.

- Abstract
Esiste, oggi, un vasto consenso nel modificare il rapporto medico e paziente, non relegandolo alle ragioni del medico o appiattendolo sulle procedure diagnostico terapeutiche legate alla malattia, ma allargandolo alle esigenze della persona. Tuttavia, a fronte di un tale consenso, non si è ancora compreso a sufficienza il cambio di paradigma comunicativo necessario per mettere nel cuore del processo decisionale le preferenze e i valori del paziente. Di norma i medici non sono attrezzati a un tale passaggio perché mancano di uno strumentario specifico capace di ascoltare attivamente e far emergere la prospettiva del paziente. La Medicina Narrativa, che può essere definita come una pratica narrativa che orienta la cura verso la persona, possiede tali strumenti ed è in grado di inaugurare un approccio narrativo capace di supportare la conversazione quotidiana dell'internista in modo efficace ed efficiente. Innestando l'approccio narrativo in una procedura comunicativa evidence based, come, ad esempio, la Calgary Cambridge Guide, l'internista può essere in grado di centrare il proprio rapporto verso la persona, ricercando la concordanza sul piano di cura, con un aumento della precisione diagnostica e con un altissimo livello di aderenza terapeutica. L'articolo, attraverso una impostazione fenomenologica, intende esaminare la scena del faccia a faccia quotidiano tra internista e paziente, per mostrare l'urgenza di un approccio narrativo nella relazione di cura orientata alla persona.
