- Abstract
The article focuses on a health care survey related to the 2012 Consumer Engagement conducted by the Employee Benefit Research Institute (EBRI). According to the survey, high-deductible health plans (HDHPs) has impacted the health insurance plans and consumer engagement in the U.S. It further states that health reimbursement account (HRA) and health savings account (HSA) enrollment has increased while consumer-driven health plan (CDHP) enrollment has reached to 10 percent in 2012.
