The article focuses on the pilot study which observes the interaction of harbor seals (Phoca vitulina), California sea lions (Zalophus californianus), and cormorants with the Halibut Trawl Fisheries in Southern California using underwater videos. Topics include the interaction rate between harbor seals, cormorants, and California sea lions, the depredation of all species, and the damaged California halibut.
