- Abstract
The article discusses the use of iPad tablet computers in education, with particular focus given to the challenges faced by educators and educational policy makers in keeping up to date on their uses and integrating them into lessons. The suggestion to allow students to shape curriculum and play an active role in determining how iPads and other devices should be used in the classroom is presented, and the potential benefits and problems of integrating social media into education are commented on.
