- Abstract
This article provides a comprehensive review of the scientific evidence on the impact of yoga in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). The review includes 18 studies that examined the effects of yoga on various parameters in RA patients. The studies found that yoga can lead to improvements in biomarkers, disease activity, quality of life, and psychological well-being in RA patients. The review highlights the potential of yoga as a non-pharmacological treatment option for RA. However, more research is needed to determine the specific type, duration, and frequency of yoga practices that are most effective for RA.
