- Abstract
The article offers information about the discovery of coastal giant salamander Dicamptodon tenebrosus in the East of Oregon Cascade Range Crest. Topics discussed include importance of morphological ratios in identification, presence of incomplete tail with the larva and small size of the salamander. It further discusses the presence of coastal salamander in Olympic peninsula in the Willapa Hills and the western slope of the Cascade Range (Cascades) in Washington D.C.
