- Abstract
The article presents information on the initiatives taken by Burgerville, a quick-service restaurant chain based in Vancouver, Washington, to make the business more green. The major steps that Burgerville took to do the makeover includes the use of solar-powered drag-through system, buying hormone and antibiotic free beef from a family ranched co-operative and providing affordable health insurance to the staffs. The company has also set its recycling target to 85 percent besides convincing 2000 customers to join them in using wind power energy credits.
