- Abstract
This essay will attempt to highlight the risks posed by the need for a transnational approach to solving the problems of insecurity in the region, showing that not only non-state actors of insecurity in the Andean region, influence the definition of a new cartography security, but are also non-state security actors, namely Military Contractors Private Security CMSP, a key element in the restructuring of the security in the Andean region, the effect of depletion of an essential element of the State nation, the monopoly of violence. In this context the Colombian conflict acquires centrality, its strategic alliance with The United States and the effects that regionally causes. This item will be key to highlight the strategic intervention of the hegemon (USA) through the almost imperceptible what is known as "unrestricted warefare".
