- Abstract
We investigated the local-global relationship in exploring the use endotecnolog'as exotecnolog'as and in the management of maize in Cohetzala, Puebla, Mexico. This survey was conducted to 64 farmers, was estimated using exotecnolog'as through Appropriation Index Modern Technology (IATM) and endotecnolog'as, because of the Degree of Rural Technology Jobs (GETC) and classified the corn farmers in low, medium and high according to IATM and GETC. We found that in the management of maize used a technological syncretism originated from local and global processes, dominated the first since the GETC is higher in the IATM 40.6 units, because this technology is more intensive, complex, productive and sustainable.
