- Abstract
The article offers information on the ability of Knowledge Elasticity of Demand in measuring the role of knowledge in demand's change and the steps in using the method in analysing the consumption of healthcare services in Romania. It notes that health systems can promote well-being by widening their scope to address the wide range of interrelated social, environmental and personal factors. It emphasizes that health consumerism can be mitigated by health education.
