- Abstract
Analyses the presence of hepatitis C virus (HCV) RNA in liver-biopsy specimens from patients who were negative for anti-HVC antibodies and for serum HCV RNA and who had long-standing abnormal results of liver-function tests (ALF-EU). Study methods; Detection of HCV RNA status in liver-biopsy specimens from patients negative for anti-HCV antibodies and for serum HCV RNA; Negative polarity of HCV RNA in the liver; Necroinflammatory activity among patients with occult HCV infection.
