- Abstract
The article focuses on the registration of clinical trials conducted in India to the online registry Clinical Trial Registry India (CTRI). According to the author, registration of clinical trials will help improve the reliability of clinical data generated, minimize duplication of trials, prevent exposure of volunteers to potential risk and will assist clinicians interpret clinical research. Also, a background on a meeting organized by the CTRI and the "Indian Journal of Medical Research" to develop a policy for publication of clinical trials is cited.
