- Abstract
The article focuses on utilizing hyperspectral remote sensing sensors to detect spinel-bearing lithologies in Mare Fecunditatis on the Moon, contributing to understanding the lunar geological evolution and volcanic history. By analyzing reflectance spectral profiles from Chandrayaan-1 mission data, the study identifies spinel-containing units predominantly in the rims, floor, and terraces of large impact craters along the periphery of the basin.
