- Abstract
The article presents a research study concerning the development of induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells from bovine embryonic fibroblast cells utilizing defined transcription factors. It notes that the study has been successful wherein the researchers were able to generate iPS cells from bovine embryonic fibroblast cells through the transduction of six bovine transcription factors. The induction was also initiated using basic fibroblast growth factor and knockout serum replacement.
