- Abstract
The article presents additional risk factors for evaluation of suspected acute aortic syndromes in the emergency department. Topics discussed include the latter association has even led to official prescription warnings from the Food and Drug Administration and other agencies; and the underlying evidence, has been obtained in retrospective population studies, case series, and anecdotal reports not involving acute patients or the emergency department (ED).
