- Abstract
The article discusses the Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 protections for pregnant and parenting students following the conclusion of the 2021 U.S. Supreme Court case Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization. Topics explored include the overturning of the abortion rights case Roe v. Wade by Dobbs, the goal of Title IX to protect women against sex-based discrimination, and the educational opportunities promoted by Title IX to pregnant and parenting students.
