- Title
WILL THE REAL CONSTITUTIONAL ORIGINALIST PLEASE STAND UP?
- Authors
Jacob, Bradley P.
- Abstract
The article focuses on the evidence of the constitutional decisions written by Justices Antonin Scalia and Clarence Thomas of the U.S. Supreme Court's original meaning textualism. The evidence points to Thomas for being one of the champions of original meaning textualism. The textualist thinking may have influenced the justices' written opinions. There was a doubt in supporting originalism from Thomas' writing and public speaking.
