- Abstract
The article discusses Cyber-Enabled Earth Exploration Curriculum (CE3), which uses interactive digital tools such as the virtual map Google Earth (GE) to teach Earth structure and plate tectonics to seventh grade science students. The authors state that applying earth science to students' lives directly increases interest and retention of information. Topics explored in the project include volcano effects, earthquake zones, and continental drift.
