- Abstract
The article presents information on the determination of principles desirable for a course of general science at the junior high school level. A course of general science includes basic teachings on physics, biology, chemistry and other sciences. Junior high school includes grades 7 to 9 in the secondary school system. Four evaluators were used to determine the desirability and the relative importance of principles and experiments for a course in general science. The evaluators rated the principles either highly desirable, desirable and undesirable.
