- Abstract
The article discusses topics related to the controversy between Liu Qingping and Guo Qiyong about the Islamic ethics and the moral heart of Confucianism. It highlights the controversy that revolves particularly around the Analects of Confucius, where in he talks about fathers and sons covering up for each other and the literature of Mencius, where in he talks about King Shun, who left his empire and run away to help his father escape the punishment for the committed murder. Further discussion on the opposing idea of Liu and Guo on the controversy is presented.
