- Abstract
The article discusses the court case R v. Dizaei, in which, the appellant, Jamshid Ali was convicted for misconduct in a public office and perverting the course of justice. It was alleged that the appellant, a senior police officer in the Metropolitan Police, had abused his power and authority to arrest and make false allegations against another man who had been engaged by the appellant to construct a website on his behalf.
