This essay presents the Tiresias Project, a research project focusing on disabled performers. The author comments on the character of Tiresias in Greek drama and the use of nude photography in the project, which offered performance workshops to disabled people as a way of investigating the significance of bodies in mythology. He comments on dance performances created as part of the project.
