- Abstract
The article focuses on the impact of medical simulation devices on interventional radiology (IR). The author asserts that medical simulators could eliminate the failures of traditional apprenticeship training. It could also improve the technical competence of trainees in this field. In addition, several radiological societies around the world advocate the use of simulators for training in IR.
