Précis of Action In Perception: Philosophy and Phenomenological Research.
- Authors
NOË, ALVA
- Abstract
The author reflects upon the phenomenology and philosophy of scene and object perception. He comments that a person visually experiences the things in terms of artificial perception and projective geometry, and suggests the role of one's experience in completing the vision of things that are hidden from the view. He also comments on the scope of visual and perceptual consciousness of persons, and refers to the perception theories offered by him in his book "Action in Perception."
