- Abstract
The article discusses the impact of inflammation/infection on the optimal treatment of renal anaemia (OPTA) in haemodialysis patients. It states that OPTA is an approach to improve anaemia care management as well as to obtain recommended target haemoglobin levels. It says that infection and inflammation are common in dialysis patients and one of the major treatment which influenced factors in anaemia management.
