- Abstract
The article cites a study which assesses the understanding of second grade children on the concepts of Earth and sun. This study was conducted in a cross-cultural method to find out the differences in children's knowledge on the subject based on their developmental patterns. It is conducted in metropolitan areas where multi-cultural children are present. The result of this study will be used to develop a science curriculum that addresses those differences. In addition, this study also aims to determine differences between concept understanding between girls and boys.
