- Abstract
The article examines the overexpression of multiple P450 genes in Helicoverpa armigera insect. The overepression of the gene was found in six strains with different levels of resistance in strains from Benin, Burkina Faso and Mali. It was also found that the multiple P450 genes contribute to the deltamethrin resistance of the insect. It is considered that the study is a first step towards the development of molecular tools for detecting resistance to such insect.
