- Abstract
The experiment was to investigate the effect of adding different doses of probiotics, acidifiers and enzyme preparations to diet on immune function of Dagu chickens. A total of 1 200 Dagu chickens were randomly divided into five groups, with four replicates in each group and 60 chickens in each replicate. Dagu chickens in group A (control group) were fed with basic diet, Dagu chickens in group B were fed with basic diet + 0.3% probiotics, Dagu chickens in group C were fed with basic diet + 0.3% probiotics + 0.2% acidifiers, Dagu chickens in group D were fed with basic diet + 0.3% probiotics + 100 g/t enzyme preparation, and Dagu chickens in group E were fed with basic diet + 0.3% probiotics + 0.2% acidifiers + 100 g/t enzyme preparations. The experiment lasted for 63 d. The results showed that on 28 d, spleen index and bursa of fabricius indexes of group C, group D and group E were significantly higher than those of control group (P<0.05). Compared with control group, the levels of newcastle disease antibody and avian influenza antibody in group B, group C, group D and group E were significantly increased (P<0.05). On 42 d, the content of IgA in peripheral blood of group B was significantly lower than that of group E (P<0.05), the content of IgM in peripheral blood of Dagu chickens in group E was significantly higher than that of group C (P<0.05). On 56 d, IgA content of Dagu chickens in group E was significantly higher than that of control group (P<0.05). On 42, 56 d, the levels of IgG in peripheral blood of Dagu chickens in group C, group D and group E were significantly higher than those in control group (P<0.05). On 28, 63 d, the number of T and B lymphocytes in group B, group C, group D and group E of Dagu chickens were significantly higher than that in control group (P<0.05). The experiment indicates that combination of probiotics, acidifiers and enzyme preparations can enhance immune organ indexes and antibody levels of Dagu chickens, increase content of immunoglobulins and number of T and B lymphocytes, enhance the humoral immune function of Dagu chickens.
